Hello my lovely readers! Being a virtual student has been an interesting journey. One perk I've enjoyed is the flexibility that comes with managing my own schedule. It's great to have the autonomy to decide when and where I engage with course materials. The variety of online resources and tools available has also bolstered my learning experience. However, the lack of face-to-face interaction can be isolating and at times it's tough to maintain motivation without the physical presence of peers and instructors. As a student, I believe teachers can enhance the distance learning experience by ensuring clear communication channels, providing additional support for those struggling to adapt, and creating virtual activities that capture and maintain our interest. I first started using Diigo this semester, and at first, I found the user interface a bit overwhelming with its numerous features and settings. As I have gotten more comfortable with it, I have really enjoyed its functionality as a social bookmarking tool.
