Hello again my lovely readers.       Teacher pages on school websites are mandated by many schools to enhance communication between teachers, students, and parents. They provide vital information about teachers, class schedules, assignments, and announcements, serving as a centralized resource for educational materials. These digital platforms facilitate organization, transparency, and collaboration within the school community.        Publicly accessible sections of school websites often include general information about the school, its mission and values, contact details, faculty listings, and perhaps some information about extracurricular activities and events. However, for detailed class pages, students and parents with login privileges typically have access to specific information such as class assignments, lesson plans, important dates, grades, and announcements. These secured areas provide a more in-depth look at the day-to-day activiti...

Blogging by Britta Burton  Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I first started using Diigo this semester, and at first, I found the user interface a bit overwhelming with its numerous features and settings. As I have gotten more comfortable with it, I have really enjoyed its functionality as a social bookmarking tool. I really like the way I can organize web pages, add highlights and annotations, and share them with others. Diigo has made my online research and note-taking more efficient. I love to take notes, and having the Diigo Web extension has made my note taking so much easier. As for my experience with blogging, it has been an interesting journey for me. I really enjoy writing in general, but what I like about blogging is the creative freedom it offers. I can express my thoughts and ideas in such a personalized way. The platform is great for sharing knowledge and connecting with a wider audience. However, it’s not without its challe...

Good evening my lovely readers!      I must admit that my interactions on Twitter have been almost nonexistent. I have never really used Twitter and my understanding of the platform is still very basic. From what I've gathered, Twitter can be a valuable tool for communication and information sharing. It allows users to follow accounts of interest, which can keep them updated on news, trends, and discussions across various domains. Additionally, Twitter provides an opportunity to connect with professionals, influencers, and thought leaders in specific fields. Looking ahead to my potential future career, I can see how Twitter could be helpful. It could serve as a platform for networking, promoting my work, and staying informed about developments in the field. Professionals often use Twitter to share their expertise, engage with their audience, and build their personal or professional brand.     On to our next topic, the digital divide impacts both stude...

Let’s imagine I'm a 4th-grade teacher. One of the standards for this grade level is the computer science standard "SC.4.CS-CS.2.3" for 4th graders is about showing kids how technology, like computers and apps, can help them solve everyday problems. As their teacher, I would teach them how to use digital tools to make things easier, like using a computer for writing or a calculator for math. I'd make sure they understand how technology can be really useful in their daily lives to solve problems. I feel ready to teach this because I know about technology, and I can make learning about it fun and practical for 4th graders. I have a good understanding of digital tools and how they can be applied practically. My ability to design engaging lessons and communicate complex ideas in simp...
